Technical Tip 1:Holding your paddle the right way round

One of the most common mistakes made by new paddlers is to hold the paddle back-to-front.

However, the blade on your paddle is at an angle, and hence has a front and a back.

  • The correct way to hold your paddle is to have the blade bent away from you.
