Tailored 1:1 and 2:1 SUP Sessions
All sessions can be booked ‘as is’, or customised to suit your specific needs.

SUP Basics
1.5 hours: 1 person $95; 2 people $150
Learn to stand up and gain the skills and confidence to control and manoeuvre your board.
Although paddling is easy, the benefit of taking a lesson is that you are coached in the right technique from the beginning. No bad habits to un-do later!
Knowing the right technique helps you make sure you are using the right muscles (e.g. your core not your arms!) to power you.
This lesson is great for those who are completely new to SUP or may have tried it, but not had a formal lesson.
The lesson includes a land demonstration and covers safety practices and the basic paddling skills needed to turn, stop and control your board including:
where to position yourself on the board
how to turn, stop and reverse the board, safely fall off and get back on the board
SUP Confidence
Choose a specific issue to tackle or get help to gain confidence on your board overall.
1.5 hours: 1 person $95; 2 people $150
Sometimes building confidence is simply about spending more time on the water. Other times, it’s about addressing specific concerns such as how to maintain balance, or issues related to the paddling environment, such as how to deal with boat wake or swell.
It can also be about working out where to paddle, reading the weather forecast or using your equipment properly.
Whatever issue you want to tackle, SUP confidence sessions let you tailor your questions and get help from a qualified instructor in a fun session on the water.
Popular areas of focus are:
Build on the Learn to SUP Lesson: People often follow up a Learn to SUP Lesson with several SUP Confidence Sessions to practise and refine the paddle skills covered in the Learn to SUP lesson.
Step up to a Touring Board: Move from a beginner board to a longer and more streamlined touring board. Getting comfortable with a more performance oriented, touring board, sets you up for distance paddles and exploring the other bays.
Distance Paddles: Start to explore beyond the bay and gain the confidence and skills needed to tack longer distances.
Trial a Race Board: Our 14” race board definitely isn’t new (!)- but it does give you the chance to see what it is like to paddle a longer, narrower board.

Block of 3: 1 person $216; 2 people $357
Committing to a regular paddle session with a personal instructor is a great way to build your SUP skills.
It’s also a great way to build fun and enjoyment into your week! Especially if you grab one of the magical sunrise or sunset sessions.
When you sign up for a regular paddle session, there is the opportunity to specify any special requests or areas of focus.
Fine-tune Your Technique (includes video analysis)
Make the most of video to see where to improve your paddling for speed, ease & efficiency.
1 hour on the water + 30 minute Zoom session
1 person $95; 2 people $150
Stand up paddling is the ultimate all-body workout. But if you are not using the correct paddle technique, you will not maximise the benefit.
Our technique sessions are designed to help you improve the speed, ease and efficiency of your paddling.
In a technique session we go through the 5 phases of the paddle stroke.
The option for video (highly recommended) means I take a short video of you on the water. I then schedule Zoom session to view the video and analyse each stage of your paddle stroke.
Includes a 1 hour paddle session and 30 minute Zoom session.
Design Your Own Fitness or Wellness Session
Transition your fitness, yoga or meditation routine to your paddle board. Everything is better on the water!
2 hours: 1 person $140; 2 people $224
The ‘Design your own’ session is where we talk through the fitness or wellness activities you would like to transition to your SUP and explore how to do this.
Whilst you create your own routine, I help with ideas and information and if you are thinking of a stationary routine, you get to borrow an anchor for mooring. Options include:
dropping anchor to meditate or do yoga on your board
use boats, buoys and apps to create your own high intensity workout on water
The ‘Design your own’ session can be a one-time session that sets you up to take your own board out and put your workout or wellness session into practice, or you can book a Regular Paddle Session to have your guide join you as your time-keeper and to cue you into each step of your workout.
This is a fantastic option for those who are looking for a new, socially distant way to exercise.
